Designed with the same passive inductor-capacitor EQ circuit and tube-driven Class A amplifier stage as the iconic EQP-1A, the EQP-1S3 delivers the classic Pultec warmth and musicality—but with an expanded range of selectable frequencies for even greater tonal flexibility.
The EQP-1S3 provides extended low-frequency options (20, 30, 60, 100, 200 Hz), a wider range of high-frequency boosts (1–16 kHz with adjustable bandwidth), and smooth high-frequency attenuation (5, 10, 20 kHz). Like all Pultecs, it allows you to boost and attenuate the same frequency band simultaneously, creating unique, natural-sounding curves that add weight, clarity, and polish without harshness.
