Following the success of our vertical Bluetooth turntable (VT-E BT), we sought to create a phono preamplifier that turns any turntable with an moving magnet cartridge into a modern Bluetooth streamer. That mission was accomplished with the release of Phono Box E BT5. It offers two separate inputs (phone & line-level) as well as two separate outputs (Bluetooth & 1/8″ line-level). It can be used as a conventional MM phono stage that connects to any hi-fi amplifier via its line-level output or it can be used as a Bluetooth streamer. It takes the analog input signal, converts it then sends digital audio to any Bluetooth receiver within a range of 10m. Such devices might be Bluetooth headphones, Bluetooth speakers or or any receiver that accommodates Bluetooth.
