Exclusive 24-Track Vinyl 2LP Collection Celebrating Country Icon’s RCA Years!
Influential vocalist Martina McBride released her major label debut in 1992 and had her first Top Ten single on Billboard’s country charts in 1993 with “My Baby Loves Me.” Inspired by forerunners such as Linda Ronstadt and Country Music Hall of Fame members Reba McEntire and Connie Smith, McBride brought her own unique voice and style that helped further modernize the image of female artists in country music, choosing material that often highlighted women’s strengths. In addition to the aforementioned “My Baby Loves Me,” the exclusive vinyl 2LP collection, Greatest Hits: The RCA Years gathers such Martina McBride classics as “Independence Day,” Concrete Angel,” “A Broken Wing,” This One’s for the Girls,” “Anyway” and “Blessed” among many more fan favorites. “When I signed my record deal with RCA in 1991, vinyl was out and CD’s were in. Even though I’ve always been happy to have my name on any form of recorded music, I’ve always hoped to see my music on vinyl,” says McBride. “I’m so thrilled to share this double vinyl album of hits that I recorded during my time with RCA. This is a very special project to me and I’m excited that everyone will be able to add it to their vinyl collection.”
