US-made Gibson GA-8 Discoverer valve (tube) amp dating from 1962-4 in fair cosmetic condition and excellent working order (see photos below). It sounds great – check the two YouTube demos below.
The original mains transformer was fried, so it’s had a suitable NOS UK/EU 240v one fitted – not the prettiest or most original amp out there, but tonally it rocks – plus you won’t need a voltage converter to use it in the UK/EU.
It is a UK 240v model and will require a step-up transformer for use in Canada and USA. The UK plug will be removed before shipping to the EU/Australia unless otherwise requested.
