For Tungsten loads (incandescent lamps or heater coils) only. No motors!
As lamp filaments take 9 times more current when turned on cool, than when running, this relay can handle 3.6 kW worth of light bulbs, on 120 ,V which otherwise would require a switch rated 270 A for to survive the start current! It would burn the contact on a regular 30 A relay.
