The Carver CT-27V is an excellent preamplifier, very high-quality. It features a gorgeous aluminum front panel complete with a simple input selector, a large volume knob, and independent bass, treble, and balance controls. The back panel hosts a wide range of video and audio connections, including ones for your turntable, VCR, laserdisc player, and tape deck. It produces a clean, crisp sound with no buzz or distortion. Match it with a nice power amp, and you’ll be set. This system currently has low audio but for the right person who wants to give this amazing system the service and care it needs, it can become the perfect preamplifier!
