Along with Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash, and Elvis Presley, Perkins was one of the seminal rockabilly artists on Sam Phillips’ Sun label and created a body of work that has been both critically acclaimed and extremely influential on songwriters, guitar players, and singers alike.
