A professional studio condenser microphone, theSCX1 is available with three different polar patterns: Cardioid (SCX1C),Hypercardioid (SCX1HC) and Omnidirectional (SCX1O). The principalapplications for the SCX1 are recording, sound design, broadcast andlive sound applications. Sensitivity, pin-point accuracy, low profileand consistency illustrate the vigorous attributes of the SCX1C.
TheSCX1 offers a consistent response to on and off axis signals whileexhibiting excellent phase coherence and minimal proximity effects. Withits wide frequency response, accuracy, choice of polar patterns andsensitivity, the SCX1 is the perfect selection for miking overhead, roomambience, orchestral sections, stringed instruments, pianos, vibes andsound effects.
The SCX1 has a 21 mm gold vapor capsule, miniaturized electronics and an extremely small footprint.
