The Elite series high output alternators offer the highest possible amperage and durability available in a large case hairpin alternator. 6 phase technology combined with massive twin rectifier assemblies and 12 diodes make these alternators totally durable for daily use, while still maintaining great output. This alternator cranks out over 200 amps at engine idle speeds and a full 320+ at cruising speeds at FULL OPERATING TEMPERATURE. This alternator comes with a smaller diameter pulley installed on it, and will require a 1/2″ – 3/4″ shorter belt for proper belt tension.
